CBS 11 News in North Texas has reported this summer on a local sex club that has neighbors upset. The McKinney swingers club “La Maison Joue” used to meet at a Dallas hotel, but now meets locally.
The TV report quotes ‘insiders’ who have been to the La Maison Joue parties, in addition to reporting on another swingers club called “The Cherry Pit” in Duncanville.
Owner Elizabeth Grilley denies operating a ‘sex club,’ but according to the CBS 11 web-report, admits adults meet to have “consensual” relationships in a local home. The TV report also showed patrons entering the rented home – in a quiet residential neighborhood — by the dozens one night. Neighbors interviewed gave statements about ‘not wanting such a thing near their kids.’
The city was looking into whether Grilley’s club violates city ordinances, and Grilley agreed not to hold any more functions at the home; in addition, the club’s website was taken down (an August party, previously advertised, was cancelled). Club members were apparently asking each other who would volunteer their home for a weekend party.
